Forged Golf Irons
which of these golf clubs are better?
i asked my golf coach about what kind of club i should get. he said the either titleist ap2s or the taylormade tp. i just have some questions. is the taylormade tp iron forged or cast? and which titleist ap2 performs better. to me i don't see much difference other than the older version looking so much better. so which of the three do you think i should get?
The Titleist AP2 irons have a much thicker club head and are more forgiving than the TaylorMade Tour Preferred Irons. The Titleist AP2 710's are their new models so it you want to go with the Titleist clubs I would go for those.
I will tell you that the Tour Preferred's are really "player" type irons where the Titleist AP2's are not. With the Tour Preferred's if you do not hit the ball in the center of the club face you are going to feel it. They are great club's and have a lot of good features but they really are geared toward low handicap players. The Titleist AP2's have a little thicker club head. They are great clubs, don't get me wrong, but they are geared toward a slightly less skilled player.
Your decision on which club to get should really depend on your skill level. Hope this helps.
