How important is GOLF lie angle?

I currently golf with Cleveland TA6 irons. There is no doubt that my heads are toe up during a typical address position (my irons rest on the heel). My game is improving and I want the optimum performance from my clubs. What should I do?

Not being able to see your set up or your swing makes it difficult at best to offer any advice......My first thought was that you are a bit too far from the ball at addess thus altering the lie angle....however.....you really need to see a Pro to see if my first impression is correct....if so its an easy correction to make....I doubt its your clubs though. Improvement requires lessons, practice and dedication....Good luck!
