on the 17th hole phil ends up behind a tree on the right side of a fairway. he says that he thinks if he really gets down on a four iron he can clear below the trees and make the green. his wife stands behind him nagging at him telling him the smart thing to do is just put it back on the fairway, then try to make the green and take the bogie. he tells her that he knows he can make the green and hits the ball. it hits the tree in front of him and bounces back hitting his wife on the head killing her instantly.

the next year he ends up in the very same spot, this time playing with his new girlfriend stacy. stacy says "you know if you get down on a 4 iron i think you can make the green from here." phil says no, i played from this very spot last year and tried that... i ended up with a double bogie.
