Golf Iron Designs
Lightly used Titleist 755 Irons, should I buy?
I have the opportunity to buy 755s that have been used for approximately 5 rounds, so they're in good condition. The price is $200. The catch is that I am just getting back into golf after 10 years... thus, I am in need of forgiveness in these clubs. Everything I read mentions these being designed for the golfer with a 15 handicap and below. Opinions? Anyone own these?
How about I'll buy them from you for 300, and you can take that money and buy whatever you want? I'm in the market for some 755's to replace my worn out 690 CB's.
The 755's would be a bit hard for a 15 (of course that is subjective - there are 15's who can really strike a ball but have no short game, and vice versa) - if you can't reliably hit the middle 1/3 of the groovespace on the club, I'd recommend more of a game improvement club like a Callaway or Ping. What did you used to play with?
