What can I expect from Midsized golf grips?

I have average size hands but I was thinking about putting Winn midsize grips on my clubs. Irons and drivers. I like a soft full feeling of these grips... I feel like I can grip the club lighter and control it easier. What might the disadvantages be? Open/closed club face at impact? Slice/hook? Lower/higher flight? Anything to think about here?

easiest way to get rid of a hook. to days grips are to thin. you will find higher ball flight, lighter grip pressure, much improved wedge play. at the very worst slight fade. increased accuracy. 2 shots a round. possibly more.
