Burly 48 yr ex-jock who wants to strike the ball accurate at my driving range, what clubs are recommended?

Been almost 5 yrs since I last was at a Driving range,..and that was most dismal! I've had a golf pro to tell me to buy these 3 clubs and practice for about 2 months on just striking the ball, accuracy and swing development.,...also "Anger Management"! LOL

1.Titanium Driver with a loft greater than 10.5 degrees
2. 6 Iron
3. Pitching Wedge just to get used to placing the ball.

Is this solid advice?? I've got freaking huge Biceps and chest muscles galore!
