Golf Iron Repairs
If my golf iron's graphite shafts cracked is it still usable?
I realized that it's the outer part that cracked like how a bamboo cracks and when I lift the strands of fiber up, the inner rod is still in tact. So I wrapped the shaft up with reasonable layers paper sellotape to hold the fibers in place, now it seems good to be used, but I am here to seek some experienced opinions.
Else, how much would it cost to replace a brand new graphite shaft? Should it replace all to save or just that broken one will do? Is there labor cost? Can I purchase my shafts on ebay and send it to the shop for repair? Please guide. Thank you.

You DO NOT want to use that shaft anymore...DANGEROUS Stuff. Besides it has lost most of it's structural integrity anyways...won't work right anymore. Take it to a Tech and he can replace it with the right shaft for YOU...Then have him check your lie angles and lofts.
I am not sure of the cost for an iron. I had my shaft replaced in my Driver because it wasn't the right shaft for me. Cost me $130 to have it replaced with the same shaft that won the MASTER's this year..Extra 50 yrds !
