Lost distance in golf shots?

I use to be able to hit my 7 iron 150 but now I can barely hit it over 110. I am 6 feet tall and am a teen. I am hitting the ball in the center of the club face. I feel like im on plane. Any suggestions on how I could regain distance?

ok first off DO NOT listen to alohakid, you do not start your swing with your hips. i have taken many lessons with a top 100 golf instructor named ed oldham and i used to start with my hips and he had me change it. your hand start off the down swing.

ok so its hard to fix it without seeing yours swing, but i might have an idea. you may be standing to close to the ball making you take a really steep swing. you may also be unhinging your wrist too early causing you to lose a lot of power. and you may not be getting a full shoulder turn. i would say the most probable thing is that you are not getting a full shoulder turn. try to feel like you are reaching out away from you on your backswing. now if that doesnt work i would say it is the wrists fault. this could actually be a problem caused by starting with the hips. feel like the first move you make from the top of your swing is your hands dropping into "the slot." an easy way to learn where the slot is to try to drop the end of the club into your right pocket without breaking your wrists. try those and seee if it helps. you could also just not be confident and be giving up on your swing. im not saying swing out of your shoes but try to swing hard and hold your finish till your ball hits the ground.
