Golf: 7 iron: longest shot?

Hey... i just went to the driving range and swung a golf club for the first time in my life... i was quite erratic (as expected) and didnt middle them often.. but i hit quite a few balls quite far... I hit one ball 262 Yards.. how good is that??

i think somebody pulled aprank on you and painted a 7 on your driver!
