What does it mean when they say the golf irons are 2 degree up? how is this different from standard irons?

This means that the club head has been bent 2 degrees. In the case of 2 degrees up, the toe has been lifted 2 degrees from normal. This would be for a golfer that tends to be a bit more upright at address, has shorter arms or is a bit taller than 'average'. Where 2 degrees down, would be for a golfer that stands further away, bends more, has longer arms or possibly is a bit shorter.
