Golf Irons Heads
any high club speed hitters have experience with cobra transition-s irons?
I went to a local golf store today and hit clubs from several sets. Since I have been a cobra user for 15 years they felt a little more natural to me and had a very soft feel on contact which i liked too. I have a fairly high club head speed and prefer forgiveness over distance.
The research I came up with today seems to recommend this set for low-mid club speed hitters. Any high club speed hitters out there have experience with this set and what did you think?
Well this is a set that is intended for mediocre golfers, to beginners, so if you are a decent golfer, go for the s9s for fps.

Skeptics scoffed last year when PowerBilt introduced the Air Forcce One: drivers, fairway woods and hybrids with club heads filled with nitrogen gas. They thought it was just another golf gimmick, until they tried it. Now, PowerBilt is introducing nitrogen-charged irons. And they are "ballistic" says Ross Kvvinge, president of PowerBilt. "There is a way to imp rove distance in irons, and we?ve figured it out," adds Kvinge. "By filling the iron head with nitrogen gas , we?ve been able to thin the face and create a much bigger sweet spot. The result is longer shots with more consistent spin rates no matter where you hit the ball on the face. So you not only get more distance, you get better accuracy, too." Kvinge points out that the technology goes beyond nitrogen. To maximize club-head speed, PowerBilt is using a proprietary Apollo steel shaft which weighs only 85 grams ? much lighter than a conventional steel shaft and slightly more than graphite. The shafts also have variable kick points. In the long irons thee kick point is low to promote higher trajectory. A mid kick point is used in the middle irons to promote both distance and accuracy, while the short irons utilize a high kick point for dead-on accuracy. In side-by-side testing against industry-leading irons, the Air Force One ? Air Foil consistently hit thee ball 10 yards farther with long-iron shots. "If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn?t have believed it," states Kvinge. The lofts are standard for modern-day irons: #4-21?; #7-311?; PW-45?.
