Golf Irons Lessons

I want to take golf lessons and don't know where i should get my starter set in washington, dc?

I'm 6'2 and when i have gone with friends to play the irons are to short for me. I'm not sure if I should just get fitted with a cheap set of clubs. Do i need clubs that match my height?

It would cetainly help if you were properly fitted. Its not only a case of height but the lie angle of the club heads would need to be correct as well.

As to the where? I'd go to a good golf store.....Golf Galaxy....Golf USA.....Austad's......(to name a few) They will be able to fit you and offer suggestions as to what you need to buy.
