Golf Irons Loft
I am consistently pushing my golf irons right with no loft. What am i doing wrong???
Check this list of possible faults.
Ball position too far back in stance
Aim: Clubface not normally a factor.
Ball position too far back in stance
Grip: Grip a little weak but not usually a factor.
Ball position: The ball position needs to be right so you hit the ball at the bottom of the swing arc. Ball likely to be too far back causing you to block the shot.
Stance: It may be too wide restricting the weight transference on the forward swing.
Body alignment: The feet, hips and shoulders may be
Weight is on heels
aiming too far to the right. (See above).
Weight is on heels
Posture: You may be sitting too far back on your heels. Put your weight on to your toes more.
Swing: The body may well be sliding into the ball rather than turning through the shot. This means you are unlikely to be turning your hips as you should. (See above).
Golf coach tip: At the driving range, stand at the far right bay and hit to the left of the range. You won't push it.

Skeptics scoffed last year when PowerBilt introduced the Air Forcce One: drivers, fairway woods and hybrids with club heads filled with nitrogen gas. They thought it was just another golf gimmick, until they tried it. Now, PowerBilt is introducing nitrogen-charged irons. And they are "ballistic" says Ross Kvvinge, president of PowerBilt. "There is a way to imp rove distance in irons, and we?ve figured it out," adds Kvinge. "By filling the iron head with nitrogen gas , we?ve been able to thin the face and create a much bigger sweet spot. The result is longer shots with more consistent spin rates no matter where you hit the ball on the face. So you not only get more distance, you get better accuracy, too." Kvinge points out that the technology goes beyond nitrogen. To maximize club-head speed, PowerBilt is using a proprietary Apollo steel shaft which weighs only 85 grams ? much lighter than a conventional steel shaft and slightly more than graphite.
