Hybrid Golf Irons Clubs
what is the overlap for golf clubs as far as distance is concerned?
i.e. what is the equivalent in woods for say a 2 iron or 1 iron. My clubs
go sw, gw, pw-4 iron, 3r hybrid, 5 wood, 3 wood, and driver. I'm trying to figure out if I need to drop my 5 or 3 wood and add another hybrid and maybe a 4 wood. Thanks
I would say look into a 4 iron hybrid if you hit the hybrids better..I hit them much better than the long irons....A one iron is essentially a three wood with less room for error and a two iron is about a 4 wood...I would not drop your three wood....and a five wood is better for landing a ball on the green that an iron...use the hybrids on your second shot on a par five or LONG par 4...expect the hybrids to roll forward much more than the 5 wood..I think if you stick to my general rules and you hit them close to equally you should again get the 4 hybrid and use them when appropriate
