can i customize store bought golf clubs?
i have a set of ping isik black dot irons. i did a web fitting and i should be playing a red dot. can i take these to a golf store and change the club angle to 1 degree flat?
Well, there are several different options. The first answer is yes. You can have most golf stores change your lie angles. They will bend it for you at a cost to be 1 degree flat, but the b;ack dot is much different than a red dot. INSTEAD I would highly, highly, highly recommend that you physically get fitted. I have done both, and about 70 percent of the time web fittings get things wrong. You can easily sell your set and upgrade to a set customized to you for not that much more money. You will play much much better if you have a set designed and built for you. Good Luck!
