Golf Iron Performance
I played a round of golf and had to hit out of a lie with rocks around it. hit my 8 iron's sole on a rock?
Will this affect the performance of the club. Its just a small nick but it bugs the hell out of me. Any suggestions?
its on the top of the club so is that the sole?
The sole of the club is like the sole of your shoe, so the sole is on the bottom. A small nick at the top of the club should not affect its performance. A nick on the club face might affect performance. It might affect your performance, though, having to look at it every time you use the eight iron.
