how old are my golf clubs?
i have 4 oil hardened pesimmon head golf clubs (macgregor tourney). and i have a set of macgregor muscle back irons .the irons only say macgregor and which club it is(i.e. #4,#5,#6 etc.) i also have a few irons,(muscle back) that have no serial numbers and only say tournement. i cant find a thing on any of them.HELP!
Sounds like a set I had in the late fifties or early 60''s. Check the grips. If they're old, worn,smooth, tha's probably the era. Only pros took grips very seriously back then, amazingly.
