Why are my golf clubs rusting?
I purchased a set of new Cleveland CMM irons and wedges and have been using them for about a year. I clean them with water after every round and have noticed that they have slowly started to rust. Is this a design feature to create more spin, or are mine starting to wear away? I golf at most 2 times per week and
Those clubs shouldn't be rusting unless you've been mistreating them. I clean my clubs most every round with a copper wire brush and dish soap in my kitchen sink since there will be times where I can't play for a month or more.
Just make sure to use a clean towel to dry them off thoroughly before putting them up. Also, try to store them in a dry place because humidity will also make your irons rust.
