What golf clubs should i buy?
I am 18 years old and a pretty serious golfer. Right now i have a 10 year old set of Titleist DCI irons which suit me well. I hit a 7 iron 155-160. My game is vastly improving this year and im down to a 4 handicap. With my new clubs i would strictly like to add distance. maybe 5-10 more yds with each club is where i want to be. I have a natural draw and dont work the ball often so i dont need clubs that can easily work the ball. Any suggestions ?
As a 22 year old golfer I know exactly what you are going through. Your first mistake is that you want more distance on your clubs. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE distance will come I guarantee it. I myself was probably hitting my 7iron around that yardage and now at age 22 I am closer to 180. What you want from your next set of clubs is ACCURACY ACCURACY ACCURACY! And if you are really serious about golf go with steel shaft blades as these are as accurate as they come. My favorite irons which i have played are Clevelands, Ping(get fitted just for you swing), Mizuno. Nikes are great but they are not for everyone. Go to a golf galaxy or Dicks and just start trying out irons.
